"Hollow Zero" has been a fan-favorite game mode within Zenless Zone Zero since its launch, with numerous expansions added since its debut. Hollow Zero tasks players with tackling a combination of the game's "Explore" and "Combat" commissions, descending through a dungeon and obtaining different "Resoniums" to provide unique buffs. Zenless Zone Zero Leak Teases Hollow Zero Expansion
A new leak shared by prominent Zenless Zone Zero leaker New Eridu News Stand is teasing the next expansion to Hollow Zero. The leak shares few details about the actual gameplay of the Hollow Zero expansion, but does confirm that it will boast its own leveling system separate from Hollow Zero's main levels. The game mode will reportedly feature a level 80 cap for players, with new rewards available for gaining levels in the Hollow Zero expansion. Zenless Zone Zero's new Hollow Zero expansion is expected to launch with Version 1.4, scheduled for December 18.
An expansion for Hollow Zero would follow in the footsteps of a previous HoYoverse RPG's updates to its roguelike game mode. Honkai: Star Rail has featured several new expansions to the game's "Simulated Universe" game mode, starting with Version 1.3's "Swarm Disaster" update. The game mode has seen multiple updates since its debut in Honkai: Star Rail, with HoYoverse even releasing an entirely separate Simulated Universe mode called Divergent Universe.
Zenless Zone Zero's newest game mode comes as HoYoverse has offered plenty of alternative ways to play the game since its launch. The "Godfinger" arcade includes several "arcade games" as mini-games, even introducing new games to the arcade with the addition of "Bizarre Brigade" launching in Version 1.2. Zenless Zone Zero has also featured smaller mini-games scattered throughout its overworld Bangboos, including rhythm games and circuit connecting mini-games. Zenless Zone Zero fans could be getting a substantial gameplay expansion with Version 1.4's rumored Hollow Zero update.

Don't go into the Hollows.
I know, I know, there's Ether in the Hollows, bizarre creations, even heritage of the old civilization, all precious treasures. But don't forget, there's also spatial disorder, monsters and mutants running rampant, and ultimately, a disaster that could swallow the world. They are not a place where ordinary people should go.
So don't go into Hollows.
Or at least, don't go in alone.
If you insist on getting into danger, go to New Eridu first.
This city where the good and the bad mix has many people who need the Hollows: Powerful wealthy tycoons, gangs that stalk the streets, conspiracy nuts, and ruthless officials.
Make your preparations there, find strong allies, and most importantly—
Find a "Proxy".
Only they can guide people out of the maze-like Hollows.
