Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Releases New Bundle With Serious Steampunk Vibes

Summary

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 released a steampunk Tracer Pack bundle including a unique Mastercraft knife. The new Black Ops 6 bundle features a strong steampunk aesthetic across all items. The game features paid cosmetics like cel-shaded skins, sparking debate among players.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has released a brand-new Tracer Pack bundle featuring some serious steampunk vibes. The new Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 bundle is sure to be a welcome addition to the game for those looking for a steampunk look for their Operator.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 launched just over a month ago, but Treyarch has already released tons of new cosmetics for players to purchase in the game. While the game does feature cosmetics that can be unlocked via gameplay, it has been typical of the series in recent years to embrace a paid cosmetics approach. Just recently, another Black Ops 6 pack added a cel-shaded skin for the first time, which looks extremely cool despite providing a distinct disadvantage on the battlefield.

A Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 developer explains several design designs behind the game's new omnimovement system.

It was confirmed on Twitter that the new Tracer Pack, titled "Kick Some Brass," is currently live on the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 store for 2400 COD Points. It features a brand-new Mastercraft knife, as well as an awesome Operator skin. Every item has a steampunk theme, so while it doesn't exactly fit in with the Black Ops 6 aesthetic perfectly, it's not as jarring as some of the other packs currently available in the game. All of the items in the "Kick Some Brass" Tracer Pack can be found below.

All Black Ops 6 "Kick Some Brass" Tracer Pack Items

"Chainblade" Mastercraft Knife "Merciless" Operator Skin "Razor Burn" XM4 Assault Rifle Blueprint "Riptear" Tanto .22 SMG Blueprint "Akimbo Assassin" Finishing Move "Show Off" Emote "Universal" Weapon Charm "Gearcrest" Emblem "Synchsight" Reticle

There has been some debate over the cosmetics in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. At the start of the game's life cycle, there was a brief period where the Operator skins were fairly realistic. However, this period has swiftly come and gone, and Black Ops 6 has followed the formula of previous games, selling wild-looking skins that look totally out of place in the game. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, especially if players are continuing to purchase and use them in-game. Still, it's an interesting debate, although it seems Black Ops 6 has already chosen its direction.

There are still plenty of Tracer Packs to come in Season 1 of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. Hopefully, it's not all cosmetic content on the way, and it will be interesting to see if Treyarch will release any more gameplay features for the rest of Season 1. The developer recently released Prop Hunt, which provides a fun party game mode away from the competitive nature of normal matches. Three new maps arrived at the start of Season 1, too - let's hope there's more to come in the near future.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6

Forced to go rogue. Hunted from within. This is Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.

Developed by Treyarch and Raven, Black Ops 6 is a spy action thriller set in the early 90s, a period of transition and upheaval in global politics, characterized by the end of the Cold War and the rise of the United States as a single superpower. With a mind-bending narrative, and unbound by the rules of engagement, this is signature Black Ops.

The Black Ops 6 Campaign provides dynamic moment-to-moment gameplay that includes a variety of play spaces with blockbuster set pieces and action-packed moments, high-stakes heists, and cloak-and-dagger spy activity.

In a best-in-class Multiplayer experience, players will test their skills across 16 new maps at launch, including 12 core 6v6 maps and 4 Strike maps that can be played 2v2 or 6v6.

Black Ops 6 also marks the epic return of Round-Based Zombies, the fan-favorite mode where players will take down hordes of the undead in two brand-new maps at launch. Post-launch, players can look forward to even more exciting maps and groundbreaking experiences dropping into both Multiplayer and Zombies.
