Pokemon TCG Pocket players want the location of the promo card mark changed. There are over 200 cards that Pokemon TCG Pocket players can collect, ranging from basic to full art cards, and the coveted ex. Another rarity of cards players can get is the promotional, which are available in different ways.
Pokemon TCG Pocket has 24 promo cards from the Genetic Apex set to collect. While some of these can be grabbed from the in-game store by spending shop tickets, some of the promo cards are only available through the game's limited-time events. Those given away via events have a different illustration and have a blue mark with a Pokeball that is located on the right-hand side. And this mark is one of the reasons why the game's community is frustrated.

Pokemon TCG Pocket players are frustrated with the location of the blue mark on the promo cards and want it moved. One of these players is Redditor ShakeeraIsHot, who suggested moving it to the bottom left corner, making the design cleaner. Although some Redditors noted that the physical Pokemon TCG promo cards also look like this, with the mark on the right side, the comments section reacted positively to the OP's idea. One player emphasized that this would be a good solution for the current location, which they defined as an “eyesore.”
So far, Pokemon TCG Pocket has finished two promo card events, with one focused on the Lapras ex card. Available from the beginning to mid-November, in this event, players took part in Solo Battles at different difficulty levels, and in addition to the Water/Ice-type, they were able to get promo cards of Pikachu, Mankey, Butterfree, and Cleifary. The second event was the Wonder Pick, and from the end of October to mid-November, players were able to pick from Chansey and Meowth promo cards with a Chansey red mark.
The third limited-time event focused on promo cards started on November 29, and this time players can add a Venusaur full-art promo card to their collections. This new Pokemon TCG Pocket event will be live until December 13, and as with Lapras ex, it will also focus on Solo Battles with different difficulties. While the Venusaur card is the main reward, players can grab Greninja, Haunter, Jigglypuff, and Onix promotional cards. In addition to also having different illustrations, the Haunter and Jigglypuff cards have slight skill changes and lower HP than their original counterparts.
